Harold combines a background in law and business to provide practical approaches to issues arising in the establishment and acquisition of new businesses.
He has expertise in international trade and finance, protection of trade secrets and intellectual property, employment practices and policies, government contracting and business formation. Much of Harold's experience is derived from federal and state court litigation in which he has represented companies in employment, shareholder, and contract matters.
Prior to practicing law, Harold managed an export trading company and was directly involved in the marketing and global distribution of military technology products to foreign governments. During his career, he has served as a legal consultant to companies involved in the transfer of restricted technology products.
Harold is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Business Administration where he received a masters of business administration in 1982. He received his juris doctor from Pace University School of Law in 1987. While attending Pace he received a New York State Bar Association writing award for a paper addressing repatriation of private funds held by foreign governments. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
In addition to professional affiliations with state and national bar associations, Harold is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association and serves on the board of directors of the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (www.faf.org), a leading cultural exchange organization serving youth worldwide.
